Jeremy and Sandy Hudson are the directors of Burn Amarillo. They have been married for 17 years and have 3 beautiful kids; Caleb (14), Joshua (9) and Eryn (6). Jeremy was raised in a Southern Baptist pastor’s home. Sandy was raised in an Assemblies of God deacon’s home. They both began singing at the age of 4. They both majored in Music Education. Jeremy attended Amarillo College and Sandy attended ORU. They have been ministering together almost from the moment they were married. Back in 1993, God showed Jeremy a picture of what He had in store for the both of us. The picture was of thousands upon thousands of worshippers, spanning the generations, gathered together for one purpose; to minister to the heart of Father God. We knew that God had gifted us in the area of music, but we didn’t understand just what we were going to be doing with those gifts. Neither one of us were really into the whole “performance” side of things. We both simply enjoyed ministering to God. We enjoyed seeing His presence come into a room and totally invade people’s hearts and radically change the environment.In early September of 2006, we decided to set up a MySpace together. A few days later, we received a “Friend Request” from The Burn. We had no idea who The Burn was, so we decided to go check it out. As we read about Burn 24-7, we knew that we wanted to know more, but really didn’t know exactly how this new found “Friend” would change our lives. God was totally setting us up for a “God encounter”. Later that same month, I (Sandy) went to a women’s conference where God literally invaded my heart in a moment one Friday morning. I will never doubt what God spoke to me that morning. It was in that moment that God specifically led me directly to Burn 24-7. Long story short, as soon as I arrived home, I told Jeremy exactly what God had spoken to me and he told me to contact Burn 24-7 ASAP. That same day, I went to the Burn 24-7 website and filled in a “contact us” form. After talking to Sean Feucht and literally bursting with excitement, we found ourselves on our way to experience our first Burn. When we arrived in Tulsa, we honestly didn’t have a clue what we were going to find. We just knew that this was where we were supposed to be.We had planned on staying in The Burn a few hours, but we wound up staying there over 24 hours. We had caught the vision of The Burn! We could not tear ourselves away! God radically moved on us. The ball was rolling and we soon became the Directors for Burn Amarillo. And yes, it did happen that quickly. Only God can swing doors open and do it with that kind of speed!The cry of our hearts is that God would show up in power and might. That He would so invade our lives, our churches and our city with His presence that everything about us will change and conform to the mind and will of Jesus. We have tried everything else. Nothing else will do. We must have the presence of God. Only His presence can change our hearts. No man can force someone to have a relationship with Jesus. Only God’s presence can move a human heart. We MUST have Jesus!

Amarillo is primed for a move of God like we have never experienced. For years, people have been praying and crying out to God to invade this city. In the spring of 2006, we had wild fires that burned up enormous amounts of land. We believe that what we saw with our physical eyes is exactly what is happening in the spiritual realm. We believe that God is burning through the religious system of our city and He is burning away the dry, dead religion. He is burning away the things that are man-made. He is unifying His Body, The Church, right here in our midst. We are seeing it with our eyes! Here in Amarillo, we have two very large prisons. Not to mention the county jails. We believe that God is going to invade the prisons as well. We believe that as we set aside time to pour out true worship on our Father, that in return, He will pour out His presence on our city. He will invade our homes! He will invade our churches! He will invade our schools! His government will be established in our region! We believe that the prodigals will come home. We believe that as we submit to His Spirit, that He will give us His songs and they will be songs that will shake this very region. Justice will be served! The songs of the Lord will accomplish what no man can accomplish! We believe that the over-crowding in our jails and prisons will be a non-issue because of the presence of God. We believe that the child abuse rate will fall because the presence of God has so invaded our homes and our city. We believe that hearts will forever be changed and that those changed hearts will overflow with worship and adoration for our Father.
